Ten Sing is a youth work within the YMCA and is based on the idea of the three C`s: Christ, Culture and Creativity.

We believe

That culture, both national and youth culture is valuable and should be used actively to let youth express themselves. Tensing is a place where youth are taken seriously and listened to.

Using creativily through music, dance and drama lets young people use and develop both their body, mind and spirit. Tensing encourages young people to believe in God and in themselves as unique and valuable human beings.

MUSIC     

In a tensing group you can sing in a choir or play in a band. The music is of different styles from ballad, rock to heavy metal

DANCE

Use your body to express yourself. Tensing groups give opportunities for dancing in bigger or smaller groups and different styles from folk to hip hop.

DRAMA

Sketches, pantomime, small plays or masicals are often used in Tensing concerts.

FRIENDS

Tensing is a very social activity that wants to include young people with no obligation, no prejudices, just pure fun and friends.
