YMCA - Is one of the largest youth organisations in the world. Its history goes back to 1844 when George Williams founded it in London. At present it unites nearly 30 million people in about 150 countries of the world.
YMCA wants everyone to have the chance to grow in mind, body and spirit.
YMCA unites people not depending on their religion, age, nationality, language or potentialities.

YMCA teaches young people to think and act constructively, plainly, democratically, to reveal their hidden talents. It helps those who seek for the sense and purpose of their life.

Ukrainian YMCAs have programs, which correspond to the needs of Ukrainian society. They are various in forms, in contents and are focused on the widest layers of population. All the programs are based on the Christian principles.

Goals of the YMCA Ukraine:
1.To work under the creation of equal opportunities for all;
2.To create the atmosphere of love and mutual understanding between people;
3.To support and expand honesty, decency and creativity in YMCA and in the whole society;
4.To develop and strengthen forms of guidance and the programs which show many-sided nature and depth of Christian belief;
5.To take all efforts for development of personality;
